I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh in the spring of 2008 and am thrilled to be teaching at Capitol West Academy. This will be my fourth year here; last year I taught K4/K5.
The K4/K5 program at CWA provides students with a safe and exploratory experience in a school environment. The students will be exploring themes that relate to and expand on their experiences. The students also will engage in developing their skills and learning new skills in academic areas.
I work hard to focus on each child’s individual needs and abilities. I would like to make sure all of my students realize their full potential. It is important to me to make sure they know they can do anything they put their mind to. I want to instill a love of learning in my students and create lifelong learners. I want them to leave my classroom knowing how to treat others kindly and ready for the academic challenges in the grades ahead.
Classroom news
During our first few weeks of school we will be learning procedures and practicing routines. Homework will begin Monday, Oct. 3.
