Elaine Mazza – I work mainly with the children in grades K-5. I am in and out of classrooms, assisting students with daily academics. I believe that every child has unlimited potential and learns in his or her own unique way. I help children find the ways in which they can learn best and am there to guide them along their individual paths. I make modifications and adaptations so that each child can be a success.
I graduated from Mount Mary College with a bachelor of arts in art therapy and received my post-baccalaureate certification and master’s degree in special education from Cardinal Stritch University.
I enjoy working with your children. Thank you for sharing them with us!

The year is off to a great start. This is my first year at CWA, so I have been working hard to get to know all of the students at the middle-school level the past few weeks. I have also been working closely with Mrs. Ervin, Mr. Staus, and Mr. Meehan to prepare and deliver the best instruction possible for our students. In enrichment, we have been studying weekly vocabulary words and recently discussed the 1989 Tiananmen Square uprising in China. In the next few weeks we will be beginning a thematic unit on the American Revolution. We will focus on vocabulary and reading and writing strategies.
