Parent Advisory Committee

The PAC is an advisory committee to the school administration that allows parents to offer solutions and assist in event planning for the school. All parents of students are welcome to join. There is no registration fee.

The committee sets yearly goals and provides feedback to the administration on issues such as the family handbook policies, needs surveys and fundraising. The PAC also hosts several events and fund raisers throughout the year to support various activities at the school.

Some recent PAC- sponsored events:

  • Muffins with Mom — Students invited their mother, grandmother or other important woman in their lives to a breakfast of muffins, milk and juice before school.
  • Donuts with Dad — Students invited their father or another important male in their lives to a breakfast of donuts, milk and juice before school.
  • Boo Bash — Students attended with their parents in costume.
  • Back 2 school BBQ — For the past five years, the PAC has hosted an August picnic for families and staff, just before the start of the new school year.
  • Teacher Appreciation Week – Several activities thanked teachers for working with their children. Highlights: parents prepared a luncheon for the teachers and supervised the playground and cafeteria so teachers could enjoy a lunch together; parents helped children write thank you notes and poems for the teachers, and parents helped kids decorate classroom doors to show appreciation for teachers’ efforts.
