Planned gifts and bequests
Most people think of donating through cash, checks or credit cards, but there are numerous other ways you can help us make a difference, some of which come with tax advantages for you. Please consider becoming a member of our Guardian Guild, a group of caring individuals who are helping in a meaningful and enduring way by fulfilling a pledge to:
- Name Capitol West Academy in their will or living trust

In-kind donations/Wish list for kids
In-kind donations are always needed for the children in our school. Of particular need:
- Snow pants and boots, all sizes
- Snow mittens, hats (not knit)
- Back packs
- Navy blue uniform pants, sizes for grades K4-4 (ages 4-9)
- Khaki-colored uniform pants, sizes for grades 5-8 (ages 10-14)
- White or navy polo shirts, various sizes
- Crayons, markers, pencils, erasers
- Glue sticks
- Calculators
- Large tag board for teacher use
- Construction paper, various colors
- Individual student white boards (need 150)
- Dry erase markers (need 300)
- Healthy snacks: granola bars, pretzels etc.

Volunteer
Help comes in many forms. Many dedicated volunteers offer their time and energy at Capitol West Academy each year to support the children we serve. Opportunities include, but are not limited to, tutoring, mentoring, helping out at school functions, or lending a hand with fund-raising activities.
